Summer Class Series: The First Harvest

This season in A Wild New Work, we're moving through the "Summer of Support," a look at four primary sources of fortification and renewal: tracking, the ancestors, the five elements, and the land.

Our learning journey will conclude just before the celebration of the first harvest, called Lughnasadh in the Gaelic tradition. The first harvest coincides with the halfway point between the Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox and is an apt time to gather the fruits of our learning.

To aid you in making medicine from the Summer of Support, we'll go through each of the four areas we've covered and work with them more deeply:

  • Tracking: What signs and guidance has Life offered to you since Imbolc on February 1st, when the first seeds of the growing season were planted?

  • The Five Elements: What do you need to know about your experience of Fire this season and how to work with it between now and when we shift into Earth season in a couple of weeks?

  • Ancestors: We'll move through a guided visualization where you can meet with and receive insights from your wise and well ancestors about your first harvest.

  • The Land: What land-based rituals would feel supportive to you and the more-than-human beings around you in this first harvest time?

This class will be a blend of teaching, guided visualization, solo reflection, and discussion. It's not necessary that you've listened to the Summer of Support series on the "A Wild New Work" podcast, but it will enhance your time in this class.

Registration is required, and a recording will be sent out via email within 24 hours after the class*.
