Your Gifts are Beautiful, Natural, and Needed
Step Into Greater Meaning and Vitality this Spring
How can you do work that’s deeply meaningful to you while also surviving inside of capitalism?
It’s not an easy question to answer, but there is a lot of vitality in asking the question itself.
As the world gets more chaotic around us, you may notice a stronger pull to discover the gifts you were born with and express them in the work that you do. Your talents, your energy, and your true nature are desperately needed right now, but it can be quite challenging to know how to actually live into them.
The drumbeat of our callings never ceases, and no matter where you are on.your journey or how you feel about your vocational life, there is always time to step into a new way of being.
Now may be one of those times for you.
What This Work Is
“Meant for More” is the name of a container I’ve offered in varying forms for the last nine years. It’s where I share what I know about how to answer the wild call of your soul without forsaking your material needs. Essentially: how do we do what’s deeply meaningful while being able to pay our bills?
This Spring, I’m offering this work via one on one guidance as well as a small group. It will be an intensive program, meeting over 8 weeks (with a week off halfway) and then monthly over 3 months.
Our sessions, whether they’re one on one or in the group, will be a blend of sharing, teaching, guided visualization, ritual, and more.
We’ll cover everything I know to be true about how to discover and live out your calling in the context of a world in crisis.
What We’ll Cover
Whether you elect to meet one on one or in the group, the material we cover will include:
Session 1 (Week of Feb. 24th): Hearing the Call (How to recognize and follow the signs Life and your soul are sending)
Session 2 (Week of March 3rd): Otherworldly Support (Who can help you on this journey, and how)
Session 3 (Week of March 10th): Your Gifts / Your Nature (Part 1)
Session 4 (Week of March 17th): Your Gifts / Your Nature (Part 2)
Session 5 (Week of March 31st): The Next Right Steps (How your gifts need to be expressed and given to the village right now)
Session 6 (Week of April 7th): Land Communication (Hearing from the land about how to live out your calling at this time)
Session 7 (Week of April 14th): Dealing with Patterns of Self-sabotage (What to do when everything feels blocked)
Session 8 (Week of April 21st): Sealing this Chapter, Next Steps
:: Medicine Walk :: (A 12-hour listening session with the land done on your own time between Sessions 8 and 9)
Sessions 9 - 11: Nurturing the New Pattern (Meeting what comes up as you continue your journey) (We’ll meet once per month in May, June, and July)
Who I Am
In my personal experience and in my role as a vocational guide for the last nine years, I’ve seen the power that comes when you’re clear about who you are and the gifts you hold.
If you sense that you’re being invited into work that is deeply meaningful while navigating the complexities of capitalism, I would love to support you.
My process is based on the cyclical and life-sustaining wisdom of Nature, and it works because it reconnects you to the truth that resides in your bones: that your life is about more than being exhausted, bored, or convinced that you have nothing to offer.
While neither of us can know where this process will lead you, you will not leave it the same person you were when you began.
Two Ways to Engage with this Work
I’ll be working with people one on one and in a small group of up to six participants. You can learn more about these two pathways below. Both programs start the week of February 24th, 2025.
Because one on one work can be so intimate, I ask that you schedule a 30-minute consultation so that we can see if working together is a mutual fit.
If you have questions about the group guidance process, you’re welcome to schedule a free consultation here.
Who This is (Generally) A Good Fit For
My style and experience isn’t a perfect fit for everyone, and in working with dozens of people very closely, I’ve found that the process is most transformative for those who:
Are ready to risk being uncomfortable (whether that’s the discomfort of not knowing, of being patient, or of making decisions that others don’t agree with)
Believe in some greater force that’s guiding us (all belief systems are welcome, but if you feel firmly that the world is devoid of animation or spirit, we likely won’t be a good fit)
Are willing to make space for this work in their lives (not just our meetings, but what you commit to doing outside of those meetings)
Already have an appreciation for and affinity to the seasons, the ecosystems around them, animals, plants, and other aspects of the living world
Learn How This Work Unfolded for Two Clients
Below, you’ll find two episodes of my podcast, A Wild New Work, in which I interview two clients who made remarkable changes in their working lives as a result of our journey together.
Next Steps
Please note: both programs start the week of February 24th. I currently have capacity for three one on one clients and six group clients.
For One on One Guidance: Because this work can be so intimate, I ask that you schedule a free, 30-minute consultation so that we can see if working together is a mutual good fit. You can schedule a consultation via the link below. If we both decide to move forward, then I’ll ask you to decide on a payment plan (the program cost is $3300, payable in up to 8 monthly payments of $412.50).
For Group Guidance: You’re welcome to schedule a consultation if you have any questions about the group program and can do so at the link below.
However, if you’re ready to register, you’re also welcome to do that now. When registering, you’ll be asked how you’d like to structure payment (the program cost is $2200, payable in up to 8 monthly payments of $275).
Questions You May Have
How do I know if vocational guidance would be helpful to me?
The benefits of vocational guidance are many, including: gaining clarity about what it is that you do and don’t want in your working life, getting to know and leverage your gifts, feeling less lonely in the difficult moments, and being held accountable so that you move forward and create new momentum for yourself. If you are experiencing distress or discomfort in your working life, have tried tweaking things on your own and are still feeling stuck, partnering with a guide you trust can be incredibly effective.
How do I know if this vocational guidance program is for me?
I know how tricky it can be to choose a guide that’s going to help you achieve the results you want. This program has been a great fit for people who have reached some level of mastery or familiarity in their working life and sense that something new wants to come through in their lives. If you resonate with the materials on my website, on the podcast, or in my books and you see the potential of a fruitful relationship with me, I encourage you to schedule a free consultation so that we can learn more about one another.
Our backgrounds and lived experiences are different. How do I know I’ll feel safe with you?
I know that my experience of work as a white, cis-gendered, traditionally-educated woman is different than it is for others who bring layered experiences with race, gender identity, class, ability, and more. My unlearning of white supremacy and patriarchy is an ongoing, imperfect process, but one that I am committed to. I always endeavor to create a completely safe and nurturing space for my clients, many of whom are of different sexual orientations, races, and backgrounds than me. To make meaningful changes in our lives, we need to feel fully seen and appreciated for who we are, and if you ever feel like your experience has been diminished by me (from afar or as a client), I would like to know, take responsibility, and do better. I also understand how powerful it can be to work with someone who shares your lived experience and am happy to refer you to someone else if you’re in need of guidance but don’t resonate with my program.
What can I expect out of this program?
You can expect your working life to be different by the end. For some people, that has meant new work or a departure from old work. For others, it has meant new ways of working in the same job but with much more ease and potential for growth. I can’t predict where this path will lead you, but I can say for certain that if you show up and do the work, your life will not look the same as it does now.
What’s the time commitment for this program?
We have 11 60-minute sessions(or 75-minutes, in the group process). The first eight sessions are weekly and the remaining three are monthly. The process is intensive at the beginning and then slows down over the last three months, when you’ll be spending more time on making the changes you’ve identified wanting to make in your vocational life. To ensure that you get the most out of this program, you’ll need time for our sessions as well as some daily or weekly space to integrate what you’re learning.
What if I invest in this program and it starts to feel like the wrong thing?
I would never coerce a client to continue if it turns out that we’re not the right fit for one another. This has never happened, but if you begin the program and change your mind, you can choose to stop. Refunds aren’t provided for completed sessions, but a pro-rated amount would be returned to you.
