Your Wild New Work Awaits You
Join us in Cedar Lodge
In traditional career development, you’re asked to identify your skills and strengths, see what jobs are available in the marketplace, and squeeze yourself into an existing slot through a dry and impersonal job search experience.
For some people, a journey like this is enough. They are content in their place and may find true meaning in work that is stable, predictable, and “normal.”
For you and me, the call to fit into workplaces that are founded upon and fed by the extraction of natural and human resources is unpalatable.
Stepping into your own unique version of A Wild New Work - a working path that challenges and enlivens you - requires you to return to the ancient rhythms that reside within you.
The modern workplace operates on a linear timeline, almost never stopping or shifting its mechanistic approach to productivity.
To reconnect to the cycles of the seasons and design a working life in concert with them is an act of reclaiming your true nature and the fact that you have something important to contribute to this world.
Please note: after over two years of becoming a shelter in the midst of pandemic surges, collapse, and personal transformations, I made the difficult decision to close Cedar Lodge as of November 2022. I’m not sure if this is a permanent change or temporary, but the best way to stay informed about future shifts is by joining my email community. Thank you to all of you who made Cedar Lodge such a magical place.
Living and working rhythmically, in alignment with what the other beings in the ecosystems around us are doing, is how you can cultivate the energy and clarity you need to walk your own perfect path.
Members of Cedar Lodge experience:
A shift in awareness from the dry, linear model of work to a way of living that is seasonally-based and rhythmic
Authentic connection with other people who are carving out unique paths in their working lives
Affirmation of their desire for more than what dominant culture and the modern workplace offer them
Support to take aligned, heart-centered steps that lead to greater ease, empowerment, and meaning

Does it cost anything to take advantage of Cedar Lodge?
It's important to me that Cedar Lodge remain accessible to all people, no matter their income level. In order to do so and make this work sustainable for me, I offer sliding scale subscriptions ranging from $11/month to $44/month. Each plan includes a free 7-day trial so that you can see how the community flows and decide whether it’s a good fit for you.
I don’t have time to engage a ton. Is it still worth joining?
We use a platform called Mighty Networks, which is super easy to use on your computer or smartphone via the app. You can always update your notification settings to the ones that feel most useful for you and your nervous system. Join us and engage at whatever level you’d like, knowing that the more you put into the community, the more you’ll get out of it.
Is Cedar Lodge an actual place?
While the long-term dream is for Cedar Lodge to become a physical place, we're starting this journey in the virtual space.
I opened Cedar Lodge in the Fall of 2020 because I saw how essential it was for those of us who work to find equilibrium, authentic connection, and crevices of possibility in the midst of widespread collapse.
Cedar Lodge is my joy to facilitate and is the main avenue through which I teach an antidote to the crumbling approaches to work: seasonally-focused growth that honors our true nature.
I seek to foster close and meaningful connections with every member, and I would love to include you among our community if this offering resonates with you.
