Becoming the Dawn: 4-week Sunrise Series

What might be dawning within you this Spring?

As the balance of daylight and nighttime tips with the Spring Equinox on March 19th, I wonder what it would mean for you to fully participate in this new cycle of risk, growth, and warmth.

This series is at once very practical while also holding a mystical seedling at its core.

On the practical hand, you are invited to nurture your circadian rhythm by arising early and placing your body toward the East, noticing what it’s like to intentionally and meditatively start your day with the dawn.

The mystery within this practice is the fact that you’re not actually separate from that dawn, or the birdsong, or the seedlings that are breaking through the soil.

By placing your attention on the sunrise, you can become a part of it. You can allow what needs to emerge in your life and work this Spring to do so, and you will know how by witnessing the emergence all around you.

The bud knows how to open, the chicks know when to hatch, and deep down, you know how to unfold into what’s next.

If you feel stuck in some way or thirsty for renewal, I hope you'll join me.

The Practicalities:

- This is an invitation for you to sit with the sunrise once a week over four weeks (four times total)

- We start Sunday, March 24th, and will conclude our practice on Sunday, April 14th, and you can join at any time

- If Sunday mornings aren’t best for you, you can just decide on a different day to engage in the practice

- Each week, you’ll get an email with notes about how to set yourself up well for the sunrise practice along with some information about corresponding archetypes and seasonal themes you may want to work with in your sunrise contemplations

- If you’d like to be a bit more engaged with others moving through the practice together, I’ll be gently moderating a WhatsApp group along the way.

This is a free and gentle invitation to step into the soft, new beginning that you need.
