If you’re like most people in Western culture, you were given no initiation rites into adulthood. No elders brought you into a circle and named your gifts or recognized the destiny you came into this world with.
You may feel that lack now - that wispy sense of self, that lack of internal direction that comes with being born into a culture with very little wisdom.
Or perhaps you do feel clear about your purpose, but you know that it’s time for it to grow and take up more room in your life and work.
If you have felt disconnected from your soulful self, from the Earth, or from the old seasonal rhythms that used to guide your ancestors, come and see what this forest retreat has for you.
Step into the Second Half of 2023 with Power and Intention
In this all-day retreat, you will be invited to reconnect to the deep roots of who you are.
Together, we’ll work to conclude the themes of Spring (rebirth, blooming, establishing new patterns) and step fully into the energy of Summer (fruition, abundance, mastery).
You’ll enter into a liminal space where you can see your vibrance in new ways, bringing forward what your soul most wants you to know about your purpose at this time. You’ll be guided through activities that will help you clarify how your purpose wants to be expressed in your working life right now and how to clear obstacles to that expression.
We all need to step in and out of spaces that remind us of who we are and what we’re here to do. That connection to the core of yourself is what can guide you into experiences and opportunities that are deeply aligned for you and medicinal to the ecosystems that you’re a part of.
How the Day Will Flow
Our time together will be a blend of teaching, individual reflection, small and large group discussion, a guided forest therapy walk, ritual, and creative exercises.
An outline of our time together is below*:
10am: Arrivals and settling in
10:30: Opening ceremony and introductions
11:00: How Spring has impacted you and your purpose, where you are in soulful cycles, and what’s ready to be released so that you can step into the Summer
12:15: Crossing the threshold from Spring to Summer
12:30: Lunch
1:00: Guided forest therapy walk and tea ceremony with Heather Dorfman
2:45: What this Summer is calling you into, what your most aligned next steps are
3:45: Break
4:00: Floral intuition workshop with Magda Permut
5:30: Closing ceremony
6:00: Community Solstice dinner

*This experience is being guided my intuition, so the flow of the day may shift

Who I Am
Hi there! My name is Megan (she/her), and I have been facilitating meditative spaces since I joined the “Retreat Team” at my Catholic High School. There is something really special about choosing to step out of the flow of daily life and into a curated experience that aligns with the seasonal rhythms, and I’m so excited to create this Summer Retreat for you.
As a coach, writer, and community steward over the last eight years, I have had to confront my own sense of disconnection to my purpose and give birth to a different way of showing up in the world. I guide my clients through their own reclamation of purpose and support them as they do work that’s aligned for them on a deep level.
My work is rooted in animist, Earth-based spirituality, meaning that I believe the planet is alive and sacred. In this retreat, you will be invited to connect to the larger wisdom that makes sense to you in order to understand your purpose and how it wants to be expressed in your life right now. You can read more about my background here.

A Note About the Land:
As a descendant of white settlers, I am attempting to connect deeply with land in a way that interrupts ongoing colonization. The land we will be meeting on is the unceded, ancestral home of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla peoples. In an effort to honor that lineage of care and intimacy with the land, I will be making offerings to the land ahead of time, we will do so on the day of the retreat, we will leave the space better than we found it, and 2.5% of net revenue will be paid in reparations (which is true for all revenue in my business). For retreat revenue, this payment will be made to Indigenous Climate Action.
